Welcome to Harry F. Abate Elementary

Dear Parents and Guardians:

On behalf of our faculty and staff members, I’d like to welcome you to Harry F. Abate Elementary school, Home of the Abate Wolves!

It is an incredible honor to serve as the Principal of a school that has meant so much to me throughout my career. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the students, families, and community that make this school so special.

At Abate, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, challenged, and supported every day. Together, we will continue fostering a positive school culture where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while discovering their unique strengths and potential.

Our vision is simple: Root. Grow. Rise. By helping students build strong foundations, grow through meaningful learning experiences, and rise with confidence and character, we prepare them for success both in school and beyond.

I’m hoping that you and your child(ren) are well, rested and ready to join us for the 2026-2027 school year. Our administrative team, custodial, office and teaching staff members have been working very hard to prepare for the safe and secure arrival of your children.

Thank you for your continued support of Harry F. Abate Elementary School. I look forward to an incredible year ahead as we continue to serve our students and community together.

Sincerely,

Mr. Allen Cowart, Principal

Our District
